As you might have noticed, there is a few differences and additions to the site. I have spend the past month (on and off) updating the site to what I believe is needed to have on a site for techtv.
As you can see I have added an entire sections for DVDs and Advertising. I added these as more people need to know we even have this kind of stuff. I have also added a new different things to the site. See if you can find them all. ;)
We will be talking more at the beginning of the year about how we will be advertising on the channel, amoung other things.

I have also updated the crew side of the site, I have added the calender and contact information for everyone. The calender will be the spot the check when events are, meeting times, and due dates. There will be another calender in the office.
I updated the tutorials page too, with some additional information on what you will be doing this year.
That is all I have for now really. I will be talking to each of you indiviually by the time we start moving back to ruston to get on the same page.

How's it going everyone? Have a nice Easter break? I do hope so.

Well anyways, the week has already gone by and that means yet another week of not having Miss Tech done. I would recommend this being done within the next two weeks, need to start selling this asap to get some money in techtv's pocket.

We had one original for the week (as I know of at the time of writing this), which is Cribs. It's a short episode, but it's something. Which is good. That is about all that happen this week for techtv*. Next week we need to pick it up alittle.

For the meeting this Sunday, thier are a few things I need to warn you of. First things first, it is very important to come to this meeting! Senond of all, it will last a little longer then our usual meetings. And third but not least, I'll be heading this one up. ;)
(Don't worry, nothing bad is going to happen at the meeting. And no one has done any thing horrible, remember, the days of Kiefer are long off.)

Hey Everyone,

Thought I would just give every one a few quick updates on the things we are doing and what we need to finish.
- First thing, what's wrong with the channel you ask? Well we are having to run every thing off the computer that plays the movies and originals, since the converter box that allows us to do the slide show has broke. The new one is on its way. So for now all we have is Movies, Originals and the movie style slide show Cory has made us. If anyone asks you what is wrong with the channel, just point them to the web site and just say that every thing will be fixed in the next few days.

-For other things on techtv* plate. We have Miss Tech and Miss Residential Life Pagents that need to be edited. Both need to be done asap. If anyone wants to try their hand at Miss Tech, just tell either Jarrod or me and we will try to help you out. Cory has aligned the first half of Miss Tech for us, and I think he is doing the 2nd half soon enough. The next step will be to choose the camera angels through out the entire thing, Which isn't hard, just time consuming. So again, just contact Jarrod or I if you want to try and learn about and try to do it.
I believe Candace is covering Miss Res, but anyone is more then welcome to help her out. The Miss Res edit will be a simpler version of Miss Tech, the difference is one has 4 cameras and the other has 2.
We also have a Business Breakfast we are editing but Jarrod and me are taking care of that.
About the originals, just remember for next week I will need them by noon on thursday. That also includes your special shows too.
Also, when you save it, save it as just a QUICKTIME video, nothing else. When you save it, save it in your (or the originals) folder with the proper name. I need the show, an under dash (_), and finally the little code at the end. since it is spring, every ones will start over with S08E1.
Here is what they should look like. P-News_S08E1, News_S08E1, ManoftheWeek_S08E1, Cribs_S08E1, GirloftheWeek_S08E1 and I don't think I forgot any. If I did, well I am sorry, just put the name and _S08E#.
On the other hand, if it is one of your shorts and you know your not going to make a series out of it, all I need is the name, no code; but still save it as a quicktime video.
That reminds me of something, since Jake graduated. We have no more intramural, so if any one is interested in doing that, there are things still happening. This also covers Tech's bigger sports. I believe it's Baseball season. I wouldn't mind seeing at least one highlight of the team and even the softballs. If you have your techtv* shirt on, you are aloud on the field (I'm for sure on the guys field but not the girls). Just watch out for foul balls.
